dinosaur scarf and merino twist

I am loving this pattern by Morehouse Farm (and I love the fact you can buy the pattern only - you don't need to buy the whole kit)! Also, I re-discovered my own Pancake and Lulu "Nixie" Merino Twist (formerly just called "Merino Twist") .  This 4-ply 100% merino wool yarn dyes up with half of the twist absorbing more dye than the other, so it creates a wonderful depth of color in the knitted fabric.  It works perfectly for this pattern, though it is a worsted weight.  I have lots of this in my "to-dye" chest.  I will be (re)introducing this in the shop soon as a range of semi-solids and colorscape yarns--so look out for that soon.  Meanwhile, I very excited to create this scarf for our resident Dinosaur expert, Spencer.  And I have my eye on these for Chloe (though I will wait for them to release the pattern only, as I find their yarn surprisingly itchy!)
