UFOs

every january I think of U.F.O.s.  not the extra terrestrial kind.  the crafter's kind: Un-Finished Objects. These are those projects that have been put aside midway and have waited very patiently to be finished.  Sometimes for months, but more often, years.

Here is a list of the ones I hope to finish this year:

• spencer's needlepoint stocking, above, (by september, so there is time to have it professionally finished into a stocking at the needlepoint store).  approximate start date: 2005
• chloe's quilt.  approximate start date: 2003
• green tea sweater (just need to weave in ends and sew on buttons): approximate start date: 2010
• other misc. unfinished knitting projects: if I accomplish the above first.

as you may not be able to tell, the list is short but long.  The stocking and the quilt have a long way to go.  If I finish these, there are more ufos stashed away, but I would be thrilled to get these few finished.  Here's to high hopes for a year full of F.O.s!
